Seeds finalized for WPIAL boys basketball teams in PIAA playoffs

The Path to the Pete is complete with six WPIAL boys basketball champions crowned the last three days at Pitt’s Petersen Events Center.
Upper St. Clair became the first boys 6A team to repeat as District 7 champs and the only squad to win back-to-back this season.
Three schools ended long title droughts with Chartiers Valley in 5A, Belle Vernon in 4A and Jeannette in 2A, plus there were two first-time champions in South Allegheny in 3A and Neighborhood Academy in A.
The PIAA boys hoops playoffs begin with first round action on Friday and Saturday.
Here is the final order of the 36 WPIAL boys teams who have qualified for the Road to Hershey.
