Seneca Valley boys, Peters Township, Oakland Catholic girls fall short in PIAA semifinals

Bennett Mueller, Ben Engstrom and Bobby Hydrisko scored to carry District 1 fifth-place finisher Radnor to a 3-1 win over WPIAL champion Seneca Valley in the PIAA Class AAAA semifinals at Chambersburg High School.
The Raiders finished the season 19-3-1.
Radnor will play District 3 runner-up Wilson in the championship game Saturday in Hershey.
Girls soccer
Souderton 2, Peters Township 1 (OT) — Averie Doughty scored off a free kick in the seventh minute of overtime to give District 1 runner-up Souderton a PIAA Class AAAA semifinal win in Chambersburg.
Freshman Jillian Marvin scored midway through the first half to give Peters Township a 1-0 lead.
Souderton tallied the equalizer with just 11 seconds left in regulation.
Souderton will play District 1 third-place finisher Pennridge in the championship game Saturday in Hershey.
Blue Mountain 2, Oakland Catholic 0 — At Bald Eagle Area, Abree Lewis and Olivia Benner scored to guide District 11 champion Blue Mountain to a PIAA Class AAA semifinal victory over WPIAL champion Oakland Catholic (20-2).
Blue Mountain will play Villa Joseph Marie in the championship game Friday in Hershey.
