Seneca Valley, Hopewell and Elderton Win 2011 WPIAL Girls Volleyball Gold

58 teams began the 2011 WPIAL Girls Volleyball Playoffs with the goal of serving up a district championship. Three teams met that goal by hoisting the gold Saturday at Franklin Regional High School. Class AAA #2-seed Seneca Valley, Class AA #1-seed Hopewell and Class A #1-seed Elderton were all crowned new girls volleyball champions as Pine-Richland and Freeport missed on chances to win back-to-back titles.
