No Football at Vincentian Academy Ths Fall

Five and done. Just over a month before the start of a new high school football season, Vincentian Academy has decided not to field a team this fall due to a lack of numbers.
The program is a co-op between Vincentian Academy, Eden Christian and Aquinas Academy, but school officials decided not to go through with the season because of the lack of interest and the dangerously low numbers they would have started the season with.
Vincentian athletic director Ronald Moncrief informed the WPIAL and their nine opponents of the final decision on Monday, July 24th.
This would have been the sixth season of football for Vincentian Academy. They Royals were 8-39 over those five seasons with a record best 4-6 in 2013 and a low mark of 0-10 this past season.
