The Parkway Conference in Class AAA and the Eastern Conference in Class A were both 4-0 in WPIAL first-round football playoff games last week. That is impressive, but not unheard of in the WPIAL. A pair of schools are celebrating their first ever WPIAL girls volleyball championships after victories on Saturday at Franklin Regional High School.
