CTK 2011 – 2010 WPIAL Class AA Football Flashback
South Fayette enjoyed a breakout season in 2009. They went undefeated in the regular season and captured the Class AA Century Conference championship. However their season came to a bitter end in a wild shootout loss to Aliquippa in the WPIAL Quarterfinals. That nightmare finish in 2009 though led to a golden dream season in 2010.

WPIAL Baseball – 2011 Season Preview

Plum’s Yurovsky is the Golden Girl, While SSA’s Perelman and QV’s Caravaggio Take Silver in 2010 PIAA Girls Singles Tennis Championships

There were plenty of medals being handed out to WPIAL tennis players Saturday at the Hershey Racquet Club. Back in September, Ronit Yurovsky of Plum beat Sara Perelman of Shady Side Academy in two sets to claim the WPIAL Girls Singles Tennis crown in Class AAA. Saturday afternoon, history repeated itself as Yurovsky beat Perelman again in the state finals.

The 2010 WPIAL Girls High School Tennis Singles Championships were held Friday afternoon at Pine-Richland High School with bright beautiful sunshine and a strong blustery wind. For a fall day, the girls had no worries of rain or cold temperatures, but the wind was a problem all afternoon.
