Just like the move Groundhog Day, the WPIAL Team Wrestling Playoffs have that same old feeling. In the end, it's Canon-McMillan and Burrell taking home the gold on, oddly enough, February 2nd. The Big Macs captured the record fourth consecutive Class AAA championship with a narrow victory over Franklin Regional while the Buccaneers won a seventh straight Class AA crown with a close win over South Fayette. For the third year in a row, the WPIAL held their team wrestling section tournaments Wednesday to help determine section champions, postseason order and district team playoff berths. Canon-McMillan won their 12th straight section title while Burrell is celebrating a 10th consecutive section crown.
