CTK 2010 – 2009 WPIAL Class AA Football Flashback

After watching rival Jeannette bask in the golden glory with back-to-back WPIAL football championships in 2007 and 2008, Greensburg Central Catholic survived a tough Interstate Conference to win a title as a double-digit seed in a deep Class AA tournament. The beat continued in Class A last year as powers Clairton and Rochester met at Heinz Field for the third time in the last six years. After a hectic finish decided on a missed two-point conversion, the Bears edged the Rams 14-13 and celebrated back-to-back WPIAL crowns and their third district title in the past four year.
