Four WPIAL boys golfers finished 1-2-3 and 4 after the final round of the 2011 PIAA Individual Golf Championships at Heritage Hills Golf Club on Tuesday, but it was Garrett Browning of West Allegheny who was the golden boy...again.2011 WPIAL FIELD HOCKEY PLAYOFFS
Three of the four finalists this year have DOMINATED the district field hockey playing field since the sports inception in 1994. Between 2010 champions North Allegheny in AAA, Ellis School in AA and Shady Side Academy, the three programs have won 25 of a possible 31 WPIAL field hockey titles. The brackets are out for the 2011 WPIAL Girls Soccer Playoffs that begin on Saturday, October 22nd and continue through to the finals on Supper Soccer Saturday on 11/5/11. Under splendid conditions Monday afternoon, the WPIAL held its Girls Team Golf Division I and Division II Semifinals at two different courses.
