CTK 2011 – WPIAL 7:00pm Kickoffs

There are 126 schools in the WPIAL that field a high school football team. While a majority still begin at 7:30pm, 38 of them now kickoff their home games at 7:00pm, including the enire Class AAA Keystone Conference. North Allegheny and Deer Lakes Win 2011 WPIAL Boys Volleyball Titles

For one school, it was just another gold trophy to add to their recent run, for another, it's a title that has been a long time coming. North Allegheny beat section rival Seneca Valley in four games to capture a fifth consecutive WPIAL boys volleyball title by winning the Class AAA championship Friday evening at Chartiers Valley High School.

PIHL Penguin Cup Playoff Recaps for Wednesday, March 9th

Shaler, Blackhawk, Seton-LaSalle and North Catholic Are Golden Girls in 2011 WPIAL Girls Basketball

Mount Lebanon and Jeannette entered championship weekend searching for more gold. The Blue Devils won WPIAL AAAA crowns in 2009 and 2010 while the Jayhawks captured AA gold last winter. But there would be no repeats in 2011. Shaler knocked out Mount Lebanon to win their second girls title and first in 31 years.
