Liam Wiseman hit a significant milestone for the Fox Chapel hockey team. During the Foxes’ 6-5 loss to Canon-McMillan on Nov. 4 at the Alpha Ice Complex, Wiseman scored three goals to reach the 100-goal mark for his career.

CHAMBERBSURG — Saturday’s PIAA Class 4A quarterfinal game between Fox Chapel and District 3’s Warwick was a seesaw affair with no real statistical advantage for either team. The sides went back and forth looking for an opening but produced few dangerous chances in a 2-1 Warwick victory.

Fox Chapel girls can’t find key goal in PIAA quarterfinal loss to Lower Dauphin
CHAMBERSBURG — Fox Chapel scored first and had the better of the scoring opportunities throughout the game but couldn’t find an equalizer as Lower Dauphin edged past the Foxes, 2-1, in a PIAA Class 3A girls soccer quarterfinal at Chambersburg High School.

David Black spent most of his time during the PIAA Class 3A cross country championships attempting to dig out of a hole from the start of the race. The Fox Chapel senior needed a fast start to get on the medal stand.
