Finally, after six weeks of above normal temperatures on Friday night, there was a bite in the air as we kicked off the MSA Sports Stretch Run. Big games in all four classifications dotted the schedule and MASSIVE performances on the ground and through the air left little doubt that prime time playoff football is just around the corner. Even though three former WPIAL players are starting at Pitt and Penn State (Jonathan Baldwin, Mike Shanahan, Derek Moye), the WPIAL hasn't been known for producing many big-time receivers over the years.
