Every Friday night that is filled with high school football action is special…but this Friday night seemed to stand out for several reasons. Each classification was lined up with big showdown games that had folks calling it Separation Friday in the WPIAL. Joe Colella, who was the head coach at Hopewell High School for nearly five decades, passed away Sunday. The cause of death has not been released. Colella finished his 48th year as head coach of the Vikings this past spring.
