The Parkway Conference in Class AAA and the Eastern Conference in Class A were both 4-0 in WPIAL first-round football playoff games last week. That is impressive, but not unheard of in the WPIAL. Welcome to Week 5 of the high school football season. Chick's Picks was thrilled to learn that Wilkinsburg finally claimed its 500th win last week, 26-21 over Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. After spending some time celebrating with the Tigers, Chick's Picks took some time to reflect on her own 500th win--a correct prediction of Aliquippa over Freeport in Week 2 of the 2003 season.
