Eight teams showed up on the North Shore on Saturday with a job to get done. There were four WPIAL football titles up for grabs as each team had the thirst to be number one. These are the key plays that for the winners turned out to be so bold. Welcome to the Week 13 of the high school football season. Chick's Picks and other elite members of the local media were preparing for Championship Saturday with a photo shoot at Heinz Field. The end of the district playoffs is near as surviving WPIAL teams remain in postseason mode. With Championship Saturday upon us, eights teams with golden dreams have come to the end of the road. Thanks to these big Semifinals plays, three postseason wins have led these teams to the next playoff door.
