Running for 4,000 career yards isn't as rare as it used to be. Forty-seven players have done it in WPIAL history, and 40 of them have reached the mark since 1990. We reached the final stop on this years trip on the Highway to Heinz. It was Semifinals Friday around District 7. 16 teams entered Friday's action with dreams of playing at the big house next Saturday dancing in their heads, however those dreams only became reality for eight of those football teams. Sixteen teams saw their dreams of WPIAL football gold and a trip to the North Show come to an end as they were forced to exit the Highway to Heinz on Quarterfinals Friday.
