Seneca Valley captured a second WPIAL girls soccer title in three years while Springdale finally knocked South Park off of its three year stay atop the WPIAL Class AA world. The beat continued in Class A last year as powers Clairton and Rochester met at Heinz Field for the third time in the last six years. After a hectic finish decided on a missed two-point conversion, the Bears edged the Rams 14-13 and celebrated back-to-back WPIAL crowns and their third district title in the past four year.
