Dancing through the rain drops, the WPIAL Girls Team Tennis Playoffs are through the First Round in Class AA and is through the Quarterfinals in Class AAA. A couple of seniors captured their third WPIAL tennis crowns Friday afternoon at the Glen Creek Tennis Club in Library. Quietly, the Greater Allegheny Conference in Class AAA has become a primetime postseason player...at least in the First Round. New Faces - New Places - New Hopes - New Dreams. Many are rookie head coaches while a couple of veteran coaches are starting over at new venues. They are few and far between, but we have seen teams pull off perfect football seasons before in the WPIAL. However the new kids on the block in Class AAA went for perfection in a different way that has never been done before. One Season - One Championship.
