Let the games begin! This is a special week celebrated by lovers all around. Sure, Valentine’s Day is Friday, but I speak for the round ball lovers as we prepare for the start of the 2025 WPIAL basketball playoffs this week on the TribLive High School Sports Network.

We get the ball rolling with the annual WPIAL Basketball Playoff Pairings Show on Monday, and then the district postseason begins later in the week. We also have a pair of WPIAL boys and girls swim meets, district girls wrestling and a District 10 girls basketball showdown.

Plus five Rebel Yell podcasts with WPIAL boys and girls basketball players and teams of the week salutes as well as a weekly look at the district standings.
