The stretch run of the high school football regular season concludes with a monster Friday of district football this week on the TribLive High School Sports Network.

Trib HSSN has video coverage of Week 9 with six key WPIAL football games Friday, plus links to several other playoff relevant football games.

The WPIAL football scoreboard show wraps up the night with scores and recaps from Week 9 and an update of the playoff picture from 9:15 to 11 p.m. Friday.

Then on Saturday, the district will release the brackets and we will unveil the match-ups during the WPIAL Football Playoff Pairings Show.

We also have another PIHL hockey Thursday night doubleheader with ice action with a battle for first place in Class 2A and a Class 3A contest.
