Thomas Jefferson, South Fayette land 2 all-state selections apiece in Class 4A

Thomas Jefferson and South Fayette each had two football players selected for the Class 4A all-state team announced Monday.
In all, Pennsylvania sports writers voted to honor seven WPIAL athletes, including Devin Danielson and Justin Vigna of Thomas Jefferson and Drew Saxton and Noah Plack of South Fayette. Joining them were New Castle's Marcus Hooker, Trinity's Joey Koroly and Montour's Kavon Morman.
State champion Cathedral Prep of Erie claimed the player and coach of the year awards. The top player was senior quarterback Joe Mischler. His father, Mike Mischler, was named the top coach.
