Tri-County West all-conference: Aliquippa’s Devonshire, Moreland earn MVP honors

Aliquippa teammates MJ Devonshire and Solvauhn Moreland, two-way standouts for the WPIAL champion, swept conference MVP honors in the Tri-County West.

Devonshire earned the award for offense, Moreland was named the top defender and each received first-team all-conference recognition on both sides of the ball.

In all, the Quips earned eight first-team all-conference spots.

First-year Aliquippa coach Mike Warfield shared coach of the year honors with Beaver Falls’ Nick Nardone.
