On the final Friday of the regular season, the combined record of the Trib 10 teams was 9-1.

The one loss came when West Allegheny stunned Montour in overtime to forge a tri-championship in the Class 4A Parkway Conference.

That loss did not cost the Spartans a spot in this week’s power rankings, but it did drop them significantly from No. 2 to No. 7.

Don’t expect a lot of changes next week either as four teams have earned first-round byes while Central Catholic and North Allegheny have the week off before the 6A playoffs begin Nov. 8.

After quick changes at No. 1 in recent weeks, undefeated Upper St. Clair remains at the top of the power rankings heading into the start of the district playoffs.

Here are the latest Trib 10 power rankings with the team’s overall record followed by last week’s ranking. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.

2. Thomas Jefferson, 10-0, (3): The Jaguars host West Allegheny on Friday

3. Central Catholic, 8-2, (4): The Vikings are off this weekend

4. North Allegheny, 9-1, (5): The Tigers are off this weekend

5. Pine-Richland, 8-1, (6): The Rams have a bye this weekend

6. Peters Township, 9-1, (7): The Indians have a bye this weekend
