The curtain has come down on the 2024 WPIAL diamond playoffs as six baseball and six softball teams are wearing the golden crown.

Those six teams are saluted by sitting in the first six seats of the post-district playoff power rankings.

Riverside sat atop the baseball rankings for the entire regular season and district postseason until now, as the Panthers tumble to No. 7 following an epic marathon title game loss to Avonworth in the 3A baseball finals.

It wasn’t easy, but Seneca Valley maintains the top seat on the softball side of the Trib 10 after a tough victory over upstart Norwin in the 6A title game.

Teams that did not win a WPIAL title but did qualify for the PIAA postseason still have a chance to regain a spot in the Trib 10, but more importantly, they are alive for state gold.

Here are the latest power rankings. Teams are listed with overall record and last week’s ranking. These weekly rankings have zero classification boundaries.
