One week of the 2025 WPIAL diamond playoffs is in the books.
For baseball and three classifications of softball, the playoffs resume next week with the quarterfinals.
For Class 6A, 5A and 4A softball, two rounds are complete and the postseason will resume with the district semifinals.
Only three teams lost their power and were dropped from the Trib 10 as their seasons came to a sudden halt: the Plum and Penn-Trafford baseball teams and Knoch softball squad.
Plum had been No. 1 in last week’s power rankings, now replaced by the original top-ranked team in baseball, Pine-Richland.
Neshannock stands perfect and still No. 1 atop the latest softball Trib 10.
Here are the latest power rankings. Teams are listed with overall record and last week’s ranking. These weekly rankings have zero classification boundaries.
