The girls powered along with February basketball in sight while the boys scuffled a bit, leading to a shuffling of the power ranking decks near the bottom of the Trib 10 this past week.

All of the girls teams from a week ago enjoyed a perfect week with one big exception.

In the midst of a three-game slide, Upper St. Clair dropped from the girls power rankings while Neshannock, coming off a big section win over Aliquippa, joins the Trib 10.

The top seven teams from last week’s boys Trib 10 continued to pile up victories and remain in their same spots; however, all three bottom teams lost and two of them, Avonworth and Greensburg Central Catholic, fell out.

That opened the door for New Castle to rejoin after a week on the sidelines and two-time defending district champion Deer Lakes to debut.

There were no changes up top as Montour boys and South Fayette girls remain at No. 1 in the power rankings this week.

Here are the latest Trib 10 basketball power rankings with overall record and last week’s ranking. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.
