The PIAA postseason is through two rounds and from a WPIAL standpoint; the boys are enjoying the trip on the Road to Hershey a lot more than the girls at this point.

The boys still have 12 District 7 teams alive for state gold, with at least one from each class and a bonanza of five teams still left in Class 2A.

Class 2A and A have been abandoned on the side of the road with no WPIAL girls teams left in those two classes and only a total of seven remaining overall with two each in 5A, 4A and 3A and one from 6A.

Upper St. Clair, North Catholic and Our Lady of the Sacred Heart have both the boys and girls teams still alive heading into the state quarterfinals.

The short stretch of Route 19 south between Upper St. Clair and Peters Township continues to shine bright with the Panthers boys and the Indians girls still on top of their respective power rankings.

After two rounds on the Road to Hershey, here are the latest Trib 10 basketball power rankings with the overall records and last week’s ranking. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.
