Trib HSSN partners with Canon-Mac Sports Network

Fans of Canon-McMillan High School football will have the best seat in the house this fall.
The TribLive High School Sports Network has partnered with the Canon-Mac Sports Network to provide free live broadcasts for all the Big Macs’ home football games and most away games during the 2025 season.
Fueled by members of the Canon-McMillan Football Alumni Association, this partnership could expand to other sports in future seasons.
Andrew Andronas, co-chairman of CMFAA with Scott Macerelli, said CMFAA members were concerned that some student-athletes were leaving for better opportunities with college recruiters, and this will be a way to showcase their abilities on a larger platform.
“With competitive sports evolving rapidly,” he said, “the Canon-Mac Sports Network is a major step forward in ensuring our athletes of all sports get the recognition they deserve.”
“This initiative enhances our football program’s visibility and strengthens our community bond,” said Dr. Greg Taranto, Canon-McMillan superintendent. “As the network grows, the planned expansion into other sports will further celebrate our student-athlete’s diverse talents. The fact that this is being born out of our alumni wanting to give back makes it that much more special.”
Trib HSSN will provide its professional production for Big Macs games, including broadcasters, camera operators and producers.
“TribLive High School Sports Network has produced thousands of live broadcasts over the years,” Trib HSSN general manager Justin LaBar said. “The experience we can provide to come right in saves them time in having to recruit people and resources. We’re already equipped to scale production based on venue and needs, allowing Canon-Mac to have a weekly showcasing of their athletics, starting with football.”
The Canon-Mac Sports Network will be accessible online through Trib HSSN’s streaming platform at TribHSSN.triblive.com, along with the Canon-McMillan School District and CMFAA channels.
Details on accessing the broadcasts and full game schedule will be released in the coming months.

In addition to livestreaming football games, Trib HSSN will be producing a weekly series highlighting Canon-McMillan athletics.
“It’s a resource for the audience to watch from anywhere live or archived,” LaBar said of the partnership. “It’s a resource for the schools to document their student-athletes.”
