Trib HSSN Pennsylvania girls basketball rankings for Feb. 19, 2026

The top girls basketball teams around the state are taking care of business in the early days of the district postseason.

That or they are biding their time until they return to the court thanks to byes earned from their regular season success.

Whatever the case, only one team lost its spot in the Trib HSSN girls basketball state rankings.

Wilmington dropped out of the Class 2A Top 5 after a second loss to top-ranked Kennedy Catholic in District 10 play.

The Greyhounds have been replaced for now by the top seed in the District 3 playoffs, York Catholic.

Once again, there was zero movement at the top of each classification for a fifth straight week with Archbishop Carroll in 6A, South Fayette in 5A, Blackhawk in 4A, Shady Side Academy in 3A, Kennedy Catholic in 2A and Bishop Guilfoyle Academy in A all still No. 1.

Here is the latest Top 5 in each of the six classifications. Teams are listed with overall record, district and last week’s ranking.
