Outside of Class 6A, there was very little movement from the semifinals to the state championship games in the Trib HSSN state rankings.
Three second-ranked teams in 3A, 2A and A lost and were replaced by the No. 3-ranked teams from last week.
While 5A and 4A remained the exact same from a week ago, it was a flip-flop in 6A as Imhotep Charter and Upper St. Clair lost, replaced by semifinals winners Father Judge and Roman Catholic from District 12.
Speaking of D-12, the Philadelphia Catholic League and Public League are sending six teams to the finals, including both teams in Class 6A.
The only classification without a District 12 rep is 2A.
The other six state finalists are split even between the WPIAL (District 7) and District 3.
Other than Father Judge replacing Imhotep Charter on top in 6A, the other top-ranked teams from last week remain the same in Neumann-Goretti in 5A, Devon Prep in 4A, South Allegheny in 3A, Linville Hill Christian Academy in 2A and Neighborhood Academy in Class A.
