As summer has turned to autumn, the elite high school football teams in the PIAA keep stacking the wins.
Of the 28 teams that played last week from the Trib HSSN state rankings, all but one was victorious.
The lone exception was Monsignor Bonner-Archbishop Prendergast from District 12, which lost to Haverford School by four points.
That loss also led to the only change among the top-ranked teams as the Friars were jumped by Pope John Paul II in the Class 4A rankings.
LaSalle College in 6A, Peters Township in 5A, Northwestern Lehigh in 3A, Troy in 2A and Fort Cherry in A remain on top of their classifications.
There is one big battle of Top 5 teams to close out the September schedule this weekend as Class 6A top-ranked LaSalle College visits Class 5A No. 4 Roman Catholic in a District 12 heavyweight bout.
