Trib HSSN Pennsylvania high school girls basketball rankings for March 25, 2025

Twelve girls basketball teams are headed to center stage, which this week is the Giant Center in Hershey, as they prepare to play for PIAA gold.

The girls championship field in Chocolate Town is a balanced group compared to the boys.

The WPIAL and District 12 are sending three teams each to the state finals with District 6 having two reps in the championship games.

The four other teams vying for gold this weekend are from Districts 1, 3, 4 and 5.

There are two new No. 1 teams heading into championship weekend with South Fayette on top in 5A and Neumann-Goretti now on top in 4A.

The four top-ranked teams from last week that won in the state semifinals to advance to their title games are Perkiomen Valley in 6A, Loyalsock Township in 3A, Berlin-Brothersvalley in 2A and Bishop Guilfoyle in A.

Here is the latest top 5 in each of the six classifications. Teams are listed with overall record, district and last week’s ranking.
