Trib HSSN Pennsylvania high school softball state rankings for March 26, 2025

The high school softball season is underway, and it’s time for the first weekly Trib HSSN state softball rankings of the year.

We start with a recap of the 2024 softball campaign.

This year’s defending champions are North Penn in 6A, Thomas Jefferson in 5A, Blue Mountain in 4A, Harbor Creek in 3A, Neshannock in 2A and DuBois Central Catholic in A.

While all will try to repeat this spring, North Penn and Blue Mountain are trying to three-peat.

The WPIAL won two state championships (Neshannock and Thomas Jefferson) while the other four districts to claim state crowns were District 1 (North Penn), District 9 (DuBois Central Catholic in A), District 10 (Harbor Creek in 3A) and District 11 (Blue Mountain).

Here is the inaugural Trib HSSN state softball rankings in 2025. Teams are listed with overall record, district and last year’s final ranking.
