Whether you are a fan of your local district team or you like to know what’s going on in girls high school basketball around Pennsylvania, the TribLive High School Sports Network has you covered this winter.
We rank the top WPIAL teams in each class every Sunday and follow with our PIAA rankings every Monday during the high school basketball season.
The latest edition saw little change, and I do mean little change, as the 30 ranked teams from a week ago combined for only six losses.
Five of those teams still remain ranked in their respective classification.
Only Weatherly in Class A could not weather the storm and dropped drom the rankings.
Six WPIAL teams remain ranked with North Allegheny and Chartiers Valley on top in Class 6A and 5A respectively. Bishop Canevin in Class 2A and West Greene in A are at the No. 2 spot, and Peters Township in 6A and North Catholic in 4A sit at No. 3.
