Upper St. Clair’s Nico D’Orazio commits to Brown

Nico D’Orazio announced his commitment to play football at Brown on Monday.
D’Orazio (5-10, 180), a rising senior at Upper St. Clair, is coming off an impressive junior season playing both wide receiver and free safety. He had 15 catches for 302 yards and four touchdowns on offense, adding 42 total tackles and three interceptions on defense.

D’Orazio helped the Panthers record 11 wins last fall, with their only loss coming to Peters Township in the WPIAL Class 5A semifinals. Upper St. Clair captured the Allegheny Six Conference title at 5-0.
He held other scholarship offers from Georgetown, Cornell, Colgate and Bucknell.
Brown is a member of the Division I FCS Ivy League and last year finished with a 3-7 record.
