The PIAA wrestling tournament is still two months away, but the finals at the 73rd Westmoreland County Coaches’ Association tournament Saturday be a preview to state competition.

There are at least three finals that could eventually be rematches in Hershey.

• At 121 pounds: Norwin junior Landon Sidun against Penn-Trafford senior Dylan Barrett.

• At 189 pounds: Kiski Area sophomore Mario Hutcherson facing Latrobe junior Hunter Snyder.

• At 215: Belle Vernon senior Elijah Brown tangling with Kiski Area senior Cooper Roscosky.

Sidun was the 114-pound state champion in 2024. An injury prevented him from defending his title in 2025. Barrett placed seventh at 114 last year and is a three-time PIAA qualifier.

Hutcherson and Snyder are both PIAA place winners. Hutcherson placed sixth at 172, while Snyder placed sixth in 2024 and third in 2025 at 189.

Brown, a Penn State commit, was the 215-pound champion last year, defeating Roscosky, 4-3, in the state finals. FloWrestling has Roscosky ranked No. 1 and Brown No. 3.

Burrell senior Cam Baker (127) and Derry junior Mason Horwat (172) are looking to become the 49th and 50th three-time county champions.
