Every Tuesday during the 2018 WPIAL football season, the TribLive High School Sports Network will release weekly Power Rankings. These rankings have zero classification boundaries.

Eight of the Trib 10 teams from a week ago were winners, so there is no movement in the top five.

No. 6 Central Catholic lost to No. 5 North Allegheny in a Class 6A battle last week. The Vikings are still in the power rankings though as they drop three spots.

Belle Vernon also lost a showdown between ranked teams when it fell to then-No. 8 Thomas Jefferson. That home loss cost the Leopards a spot on the list.

Week 3 has no head-to-head matchups of current Trib 10 teams, but there are still conference challenges for Penn Hills and McKeesport.

Here are the rankings heading into Week 3.
