Westinghouse junior Dayon Hayes is becoming the hottest City League football recruit in years.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound defensive lineman announced a scholarship offer Friday from Penn State, a few weeks after visiting State College.
Hayes, who received a Pitt offer in February, now lists a dozen FBS or FCS offers. His other recent additions include Wake Forest and Syracuse.
