Westmoreland County football players to watch for Week 9

Justin Cramer

Jeannette, Jr., T/LB

The 6-foot, 299-pound junior leads the Jayhawks with 101 tackles. He and Drake Petrillo have put a lot of heat on opposing quarterbacks. He’s also a good blocker on offense.

Dillon Ferretti

Hempfield, Jr., TE/LB

The 5-foot-11, 225-pound junior is having a fantastic season for the Spartans. He has 105 tackles, seven tackles for losses and five sacks. He’s also the starting right guard.

Jake Fazekas

Mt. Pleasant, Jr., TE/LB

The 6-foot-2, 225-pound junior has 62 tackles on defense from his linebacker spot. He also has 10 catches for 112 yards.

Dustin Shoaf

Yough, Sr., RB

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound running back leads the WPIAL in rushing with 1,728 yards, giving him 4,812 in his career. He’s also caught two passes for 27 yards, completed 5 of 15 passes for 52 yards and a touchdown and scored 18 times. He needs 188 yards Friday against Elizabeth Forward to reach 5,000 in his career.
