Westmoreland County football players to watch in 2023 Week 6

Player of the week

Kyle Dupill

Franklin Regional, Jr., RB

The 5-foot-7, 200-pound junior turned in quite a game as the Panthers rallied from a 20-3 deficit to defeat Plum, 45-26, last week. He rushed for 240 yards and scored five touchdowns. He has rushed for 718 yards and scored 12 touchdowns this season.

Players to watch

Gavin Holemeyer

Jeannette, Sr., C/DT

The 5-10, 225-pound senior plays a critical part of an offensive line that has gained 1,363 yards through six games this season. He also anchors a defensive line that has helped hold opponents to 95 points.

Jackson Pons

Norwin, Sr., WR/S

The 6-2, 185-pound senior caught four passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns against Penn-Trafford last week. The Miami (Ohio) recruit has caught 22 passes for 344 yards and six touchdowns this season.

Dom Rosensteel

Greensburg Salem, Jr., WR/DB

The 5-10, 150-pound junior wide receiver had eight catches for 93 yards in the Golden Lions’ loss to Mt. Pleasant last week. He has a team-high 22 catches for 289 yards and one touchdown this season.
