Westmoreland County players to watch for Week 3

Jared Hartman
Belle Vernon, jr., QB/LB
Hartman and the Leopards played only a half against Ambridge, a 43-0 victory, before lightning canceled the second half. He still tossed three touchdown passes and threw for 81 yards. He has completed 12 of 19 passes for 128 yards and three scores this season.
Max Pisula
Greensburg Central Catholic, sr., QB/LB
The senior left-handed slinger has thrown for 305 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for 123 yards and two scores. On defense, he has 15 tackles, a sack, a fumble recovery and four tackles for losses.
Ron Robinson
Southmoreland, sr., RB/DB
The senior running back rushed for 105 yards and scored two touchdowns against Carmichaels. He’s carried the ball 47 times for 347 yards and five touchdowns. He also has two catches for 111 and a touchdown.
Vaughn Taylor
Monessen, sr., RB/LB
Taylor has been an outstanding player for the Greyhounds since his freshman season. Monessen coach Mike Blainefield said Taylor stands out on the field and is getting looks from some MAC and Division II schools.
