The 'first time' in many things in life is special…or at least memorable. we saw a little of both on the First Friday of the new WPIAL and City League football season. The biggest thing is that ALL but a handful of District 7 teams were playing conference games on this season opener. As Bud Selig likes to say, 'these games count'. Here is a rundown of all the final results from Friday.
