WPIAL announces sites for Friday’s football semifinals

The WPIAL has announced sites for its eight semifinals next Friday night.

Semifinals will be contested Friday in Class 5A, 3A, 2A and A with the championship games to follow Saturday, Nov. 22 at Acrisure Stadium.

In Class 6A and 4A, the finals will be played next Saturday at Pine-Richland.

Class 6A

Championship

Nov. 15 schedule

Central Catholic (10-1) vs. North Allegheny (8-3) at Pine-Richland, 6:05 p.m.

Class 5A

Semifinals

Friday’s schedule

Pine-Richland (10-1) vs. Moon (9-3) at Chartiers Valley, 7 p.m.; Peters Township (11-0) vs. Upper St. Clair (10-2) at Canon-McMillan, 7 p.m.

Class 4A

Championship

Nov. 15 schedule

McKeesport (9-3) vs. Aliquippa (9-3) at Pine-Richland, 12:05 p.m.
