WPIAL baseball, softball teams set for PIAA playoffs

The soggy 2025 WPIAL diamond sports playoffs are in the books with six new baseball champions, four new softball champions, one softball repeat (Mohawk) and one softball four-peat (Neshannock).

Now for 19 district baseball teams and 18 WPIAL softball schools, the battle for a state championship begins Monday.

Here is a list of the PIAA qualifiers from the WPIAL and the district seed they have entering the state postseason.
