The final WPIAL boys basketball playoff field is set as 78 teams will begin the Path to the Pete with the hopes of striking gold in early March.

There were three ties for fourth place, with West Allegheny and Thomas Jefferson in Section 1-5A and Blackhawk and Beaver in Section 2-4A splitting head-to-head matches and each qualifying for the district postseason.

Springdale and Apollo-Ridge tied for fourth in Section 1-2A, but only the Dynamos are playoff bound as they swept both games against the Vikings.
