WPIAL Class 4A football roundup: Jonah Williamson factors in 6 TDs in Trinity’s 41-40 win

Jonah Williamson threw for 234 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 233 yards and three TDs to lead Trinity to a 41-40 victory over Connellsville (2-2, 0-1) in the Class 4A Big Seven Conference on Friday night.
His 32-yard TD run in the fourth quarter proved to be the winning score for the Hillers (3-1, 1-0).
Anthony Piasecki threw for 273 yards and two touchdowns for Connellsville.
McKeesport 55, Laurel Highlands 3 — Anthony Cromerdie and Kemon Spell scored two touchdowns each as No. 3 McKeesport (3-1, 1-0) downed Laurel Highlands (1-3, 0-1) in Big Seven Conference play.
Hampton 35, Kiski Area 26 — In the Greater Allegheny Conference, Hampton (1-3, 1-0) defeated Kiski Area (1-3, 0-1). Carson Heinle threw for 173 yards and three touchdown passes to Andrew Finney for the Cavaliers.
Mars 42, Indiana 6 — In the Greater Allegheny Conference, Evan Wright ran for 177 yards and three touchdowns to lead Mars (3-1, 1-0) to victory at Indiana (2-2, 0-1). Luke Goodworth threw for 184 yards and two touchdowns — both to Gabe Hein — for Mars. Hein caught seven passes for 121 yards.
Ambridge 22, Blackhawk 16 — Ambridge (2-2, 1-0) defeated Blackhawk (0-4, 0-1) for the Parkway Conference win.
Central Valley 34, Chartiers Valley 6 — Mason Dixon ran for 82 yards and a pair of 4-yard touchdowns as No. 4 Central Valley (3-1, 1-0) beat Chartiers Valley (0-4, 0-1) in Parkway Conference play.
West Allegheny 46, New Castle 0 — Brock Cornell ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns while Roman Police added 102 rushing yards and three touchdowns as West Allegheny (3-1, 1-0) blanked New Castle (0-4, 0-1) in the Parkway Conference.
Armstrong 52, Freeport 16 — Colt Sprankle threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns to lead Armstrong (3-1) to a nonconference win. Ian Olsen caught eight passes for 163 yards and a touchdown, Kyan Kline had three receptions for 89 yards and two scores, and Alex Patton ran for 128 yards and a TD. Cyp Selinger returned a kick 91 yards for a score and Drew Ross hit Madden Wisniewski with a 4-yard TD pass for Freeport (2-2).
West Mifflin 48, Ringgold 0 — Rich Fix ran for 160 yards and a touchdown, caught two scoring passes and returned a punt 64 yards for another TD as Class 3A West Mifflin (1-3) defeated Class 4A Ringgold (0-4). Armond Hill added 101 rushing yards and a 76-yard touchdown.
Albert Gallatin 36, Uniontown 0 — Cyrus Potkul rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown as Albert Gallatin (1-3) beat Uniontown (2-2) in nonconference play.
