WPIAL clinched: Baseball playoff field nearly set

The 2025 WPIAL baseball playoff field is nearly set with 78 teams with one day left in the regular season and two possible spots in Class 3A still up for grabs.
The top four teams in each section qualify for the playoffs with all tied teams advancing if they split their head-to-head meetings.

Here is the latest list of teams that have earned district playoff berths through Wednesday, plus the playoff scenarios for Section 4-3A.

• McGuffey (5-5) can clinch with one win in a section series doubleheader against Seton LaSalle on Thursday. Keystone Oaks (5-6) can clinch with a win over Washington on Thursday and one more section loss by McGuffey or a loss to visiting Washington and McGuffey loses both games to Seton LaSalle. McGuffey and Keystone Oaks both qualify if they finish tied for fourth place.
