WPIAL clinched: Field of automatic qualifiers set for 2025 football playoffs

Here’s a look at teams that have automatically qualified for the WPIAL football playoffs. The WPIAL football committee will choose wild card qualifiers Saturday. The playoffs begin next Friday.

Class 6A (4 qualifiers)

1. Central Catholic, 2. North Allegheny, 3. Norwin, 4. Canon-McMillan

Class 5A (12 qualifiers)

Allegheny Six: 1. Peters Township, 2. Moon, 3. Upper St. Clair

Big East: 1. Woodland Hills, 2. Penn-Trafford, 3. Kiski Area

Northeast: 1. Pine-Richland, 2. Shaler, 3. North Hills
