WPIAL clinched: Girls soccer playoff qualifiers and clinching scenarios through Oct. 12, 2025

Section play in the 2025 WPIAL girls soccer regular season has reached the final day, and 58 teams have qualified for the upcoming district postseason.

The top four teams in each section qualify for the district playoffs. All teams tied for a playoff spot in which head-to-head does not break the tie all qualify for the postseason.

Here is the latest list of district teams that have qualified for the 2025 WPIAL girls soccer playoffs, plus the playoff picture for the two or three remaining postseason berths through Sunday.

Class 4A: Set with 12 playoffs teams; there will be four first-round byes

• Chartiers Valley (3-6-2) needs one win against Trinity (1-8-1) on Monday to qualify. Blackhawk (3-6-2) needs to beat or tie West Allegheny (7-4) and have Chartiers Valley lose to Trinity on Monday in order to clinch. If Chartiers Valley and Blackhawk finished tied, the Colts qualify because of the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Cougars.

• Both The Ellis School and Greensburg Central Catholic are 3-6. The Tigers can clinch with a win at Winchester Thurston (6-2-1) on Monday. The Centurions can clinch with a win at Springdale (8-0-1) on Monday. If Ellis and GCC both win, lose or tie, both teams will qualify for the playoffs.
