WPIAL clinched: Girls soccer playoff qualifiers through Oct. 6, 2025

Section play in the 2025 WPIAL girls soccer regular season has reached the final week and 55 teams have qualified for the upcoming district postseason.
The top four teams in each section qualify for the district playoffs. All teams tied for a playoff spot where head-to-head does not break the tie all qualify for the postseason.

Here is the latest list of district teams that have qualified for the WPIAL girls soccer playoffs through Monday, plus the playoff picture for the remaining postseason berths.
Class 4A
Set with 12 playoffs teams and four first-round byes

• Shaler (4-4) needs one win or tie against Hampton on Wednesday or Gateway on Monday to clinch. Hampton (3-4-1) needs one win against Shaler on Wednesday or Penn Hills on Monday to clinch. Gateway (2-5-1) needs wins against Fox Chapel on Wednesday and Shaler on Monday to remain alive. Gateway loses the head-to-head tiebreaker against Hampton but would qualify if it finished tied with Shaler.

West Allegheny Indians
• Chartiers Valley (3-5-2) needs one win against West Allegheny on Wednesday or Trinity on Monday to qualify. Blackhawk (2-6-2) needs to beat Bethel Park on Wednesday and win or tie West Allegheny on Monday and have Chartiers Valley lose both section games because the Cougars lose the head-to-head tiebreaker to the Colts.

• Ringgold (5-5-1) can clinch with a win or a tie against McGuffey on Monday. McGuffey (4-6) needs to beat or tie South Park on Wednesday and beat Ringgold on Monday to qualify. If the Rams and Highlanders finished tied, they both qualify.
